We were so very sorry to hear about John's passing. He truly was a very generous & caring person. I remember when John & I (Luann) prepared many Easter baskets & delivered them to the children at an orphanage. He cared about the children who were not as fortunate as some. Ron loved his pickles & his BBQ beef was outstanding! He will be sorely missed by all that knew him. Our sincere condolances to Penny & all of his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.Ron Smith & Luann Jurski

I was sorry to hear about Uncle Johnny's passing, it is still hard to accept. Although he is gone he won't be forgotten, Uncle Johnny was loved by all of us and will be greatly missed. The only thing that made hearing about his passing easier, was knowing Grandma and Grandpa were there when God gave him his wings.

Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of John. Though I have not been in touch with him, I have always remembered him fondly. As his first cousin, I often had visits from him when his family came to Ford City to visit. I can also remember several visits to Toledo. The last time I saw John was while I was attending the Kittanning campus of Indiana Univ. of Pa. John and a friend were in the area for a short visit when he was in the Navy. He was so handsome and charming that everyone demanded to know who he was! I'll always remember him as fun loving and filled with a great sense of humor. I have thought of him often over the years, so I do feel a true sense of loss. I am thinking of all of his loved ones and praying that you will be comforted in knowing how loved John was. Sincerely,Nancy
