One year at the annual 4th of July/Birthday celebration our fireworks got a little out of hand and we caught the "back-forty" on fire. Loved that party every year. Oh, and Steve loved those damn Buckeyes...LOL I recall him losing a bet to Sean and having to wear the most hideous Indiana shirt we could find. He was SO funny, Thank you to all of you, for the laughter and for being such great friends to my Mom and Dad all these years ❤

Many memories of this guy loved his stories that made you laugh so hard you cry. Lots of good times at the Friday night Football games and of course all the candy bars. His only fault was he was a Buckeye fan. May you RIP and go Blue !!!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I have many memories but one of my favorites is the time I ran into him at Kmart. He didn’t have his normal candy treats but he had scratch off tickets. He insisted I take a couple in place of the chocolate he didn’t have. He always had a treat! He was a generous, funny man and he will be missed. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Love and Hugs Val

Sue and family, Our sincerest sympathy on your loss of Steve. We have so many good memories of the years Steve worked for us at Deme Acres GC. There were so many funny jokes between him and the other staff. His love of Ohio State made for some jokes by loyal Michigan fans. Our golfers who were Michigan fans had fun putting Michigan signs and flags, where Steve would see them. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerely, Jim and Carol Bruce
