ALthough I did not know Derrick as well as most, he was always cordial with me. My best memories of him are his orders at Taco Bell before he and Valerie were wed, and then afterwards, I knew him as a good man and would consider him a friend. I regret that he and I never spent much time together, but thankful that he made another friend of mine a happy wife. You will be missed man- see you in another life. Love, tj

Derrick and I went through school together from fifth grade on. He was always treated everyone well, even if they treated him badly. I always thought he would grow to be a breat man. God really does have a plan for everyone and we will all see him again on the other side! God Bless and remember.. He will be Watching over you!~Renae Lambrecht

We found a box of old photographs the other day and were reminiscing about Tyler & Derrick playing when they were little. In one of the pictures they had raked a huge pile of leaves, then buried themselves in them. They would jump out and scare people as they walked down the sidewalk! When your heart is empty, filling it with happy memories can help you find your smile. Our hearts ache for your family. We are so sorry for your loss. The Boos Family
