Armando Frank Arce, 95, of Monroe, Michigan passed away on December 26, 2017.” He was born on December 21, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan to Francisco and Esperanza (Zavala) Arce. Armando was married to the love of his life, Irene, for 68 years.” He was a loving, funny, talented, caring and forgiving man.” Armando retired from Ford Motor Company, where he was a Tool and Die Maker and Quality Control Inspector for 16 years.” One of his great pleasures was singing bass with the Monroe Chapter of the Barbershoppers, and the Floral City Harmonizers for many years. He loved woodworking and built his house on Indian Trails, where he raised his family.” He was very loved and will be greatly missed. Armando is survived by his wife, Irene; children Andrea Arce; Anita (Tim) Hughes; Armand (Sandra); Adrienne (Terry) Dike; Alan (Michelle); Alec (Robin); nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and sister, Drs.
