Kevin you fought your greatest battle and lost. Those left to cherish your memory will always remember your many acts of selfless giving. You were my handyman- fixer-upper, grass cutter, my muscles and strength when I had none..Your endless concern for me will be missed! Now who is going to be our concession man when we women are hungry and cold at the games? As you never returned without munchies and coffee to share always spoiling us ladies!!! 43 yrs ago your first words were..What do have to eat? I will never forget watching you enjoy eating my homemade brownies & rice crispy treats while enjoying our last good visit. Who knew our first & last times would be over food? It was nice to see you being your old spunky self. The Kevin we all knew and loved! For those who really knew you saw the kind hearted man you really were! I tip my hat to you as a devoted father to Chad and Bre, the one love that gave you so much joy in life. My heart goes out to all the Detrick's. Chad and Bre my love is sent your way. May you find peace in knowing your Dad will always be watching over you all the days of your lives! Sharon what a pillar of strength as a mother who stood by her children during the saddest moments of their lives…you and Kevin were great parents! Yes Kevin..YOU LIVED! Rest in Peace..Your favorite sister–in-law! ;) I miss uuuu!

Thx for the lifelong memories you've left in my heart, for you helped mold me into the man i am today.Your sarcasm..carisma..and competive spirit lives within me now and forever! Rest in peace Uncle Kevin. Thanks for always being there to lend me a hand when I was in need of help. I will just have to carry on your sarcastic attitude at family functions from now on and eat the Ready-Whip for both of us. Love always, Jessica

Kevin,This hardly seems real as I am so use to seeing you busy at work and smiling. Thank you for always seeing to it I had my requests fulfilled at the gym, we are all going to miss you.Bre, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I know how close you were to your father, the bond the two of you had will always remain in your heart along with loving memories you shared. Please be strong, and remember although we cannot question gods motives in times like this we have to believe god loved him enough to not allow pain and suffering. You've always been daddy's girl and he will be your gurdian angel forever. Sharon, I know Kevin was a good friend to you and you both shared a loving friendship despite any indifferences you had at a time and that is a lot to be spoken for when people such as yourself and Kevin are far and few between. Your a beautiful person and inspiration to everyones life you touch. May your memories of Kevin live on in your heart forever and always bring a smile to your face. You have always been like family and I'm here if there is anything any of you need. May god be with all of you during this difficult time and in the days ahead.God bless, love Tammy

Kevin, here it is 3/15/2016 Chad just had a birthday and I was looking for a friend on this site and I came across yours.Cant believe its still on here and cant believe I didnt leave a message for ,I could of sworn at the time of your death I did,Well anyway you are a and always be my best brother in law.you were always there for me when ever I needed something.you were one of the the kindest and big hearted people I know.your kids adored you and your grandchildren if only you had lived long enough to meet your grand children Brynn, and NIco,they both have your beautiful blue eyes and spunky personality. And then theres the twins MIcal And Brevin I can only imagine how much you would have spoiled them all rotten. Bre makes sure they all know who their Grandpa Kevin was she shows them your picture as your urn is sitting on the table so you are always around.and Im sure you are always around anyway.as you know kids see more than we do and Brynn is always talking to someone who is not there.Im guessing its you.well this is getting long and Im actually glad I came across this now because I was able to tell you about your grand kids but IM sure you already k ow all there is to know.Kevin you are missed more than words can say.Peg always puts me to tears with the pictures she post of you and all the memories just come back to me of all the crazy times we all had together.you RIH and continue to watch over all of us as iM sure you are,LOVE AND MISS YOU VERY MUCH !!!! YOUR FAVORITE SISTER IN LAW!!!!!!!!!
