June Cartwright, 86, passed away December 3, 2008 in Toledo at the home of her daughter, Patsy. She was born in Michigan to the late Ruth and Don Emerson in June of 1922. Losing her mother at an early age, she was raised by relatives, finally ending up in Mishawaka, Indiana. There she met and married her high school sweetheart, Jack Cartwright. Jack passed away in 1999 and June prided herself in living independently until the age of 86. Just three months ago, due to illness, she moved in with her daughter Patsy.
