Jim was a wonderful teacher who was successful in making literature fun and relatable to his students. He was funny, kind and compassionate. He instilled in his students a respect for literature and encouraged everyone to take the time to try to understand and appreciate literature of any form. I graduated from SFS in 2006 and had Mr. Keller as my English teacher for one year. His class was one of the most enjoyable that I ever had in high school or otherwise. I am grateful to have had such a teacher and my heartfelt condolences go out to all of his family and loved ones.
