Hal E. Graham, 77, went to his eternal fishing hole on August 24, 2018. He was born on October 23,1940 to Nelson & Virginia Graham. He was a graduate of Sylvania High school and upon graduating he enlisted in the Army National Guard. Hal was a member of the sheet metal workers union and owned his own HVAC business until his retirement. He married his wife Linda (Housley) in October of 1962.
In his younger years Hal raced motorcycles and enjoyed hunting but his biggest passion was fishing. He was an avid bass fisherman winning many tournaments and titles over the years. Trophies and plaques line his office walls. He was a proud member of the Toledo Bass Club where he developed great friendships with his fishing buddies.
Hal is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda; his children, Jim, Larry (Kerry), Jodi (Tom), and Laura (Tim); his grandchildren Ashley (Ben), Katie (Chris), Mariah (Casey), Cole,Savannah and Tabitha. He is also survived by his great granddaughter and namesake Hallee Marie. He is preceded in death by his father Nelson, sister Crystal and his Aunt Evelyn, who helped raise him as a child.
Hal will be dearly missed by his wife and family. A private family memorial will be held for Hal. The family wishes that you don’t think of Hal as passing, but that you think of him as “Gone Fishing.” So, the next time you’re out casting a line, catch a big one for Hal.
