Jerry will always live on through the memories you hold dear. He may be gone from this life, but is SAFELY HOME! He was a good man with a smile that could light up a room!! Gone but, never FORGOTTEN!!
John Kunkel, nephew left a message on August 29, 2020:
I knew he liked to run, but damn, the NYC marathon. I have many a fond memory. My uncle Jerry with his posse (his siblings) on Sundays at my grandma's home ,they all sharing stories and laughter. As a child, I was always excited to see him as I knew his son, Scott, would accompany him which meant playing Emergency 51. Scott always played the cool character. Scott, I forgive u now for that childhood tactic. I will always remember my uncle's laughter. Other memories which I will cherish forever : Trish and their wedding, hosting the family reunion (his idea, thank God), oh, and those free Burger King coupons from his job (why did he have to quit that job? I'll never forgive him for that career move), these are but a few. I picture him in the afterlife, sharing a laugh and a beer with my dad. U will be missed but those memories will live on forever. Okay, u now can go for a jog. Love.

I have many fond memories of Jerry from when I was in high school. Always welcoming us into his home which is a big feat considering us being a bunch of rowdy teenagers. He was a fun loving guy who will be dearly missed by all!
