David Howard Ziegler, 76, passed away on April 15, 2016. He graduated from Rogers High School and had a long, successful career in automotive sales. Dave was president of the Sylvania Jaycees during the time funds were raised for the first dialysis machine in Northwest Ohio. He loved to spend time with family and friends, and enjoyed his gourmet club and spending summers at Higgins Lake. He later moved to Florida and began his own business in custom silk screen and embroidered apparel. Dave was well known in many eating and drinking establishments in South Florida as Dave the T-Shirt Guy. Dave is survived by his wife of 53 years, Peggy (Reed); children, David (Lori) and Patty Provost; and grandchildren, Alex, Michael, Michelle, and David Newt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Celia (Borton), and his brother, Thomas. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 24, 2016 from noon to 3 PM at the Sylvania Moose Lodge #1579, 6072 Main St. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Dave’s memory to The American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.
