Mr. Hottle was my neighbor and friend, I often referred to him as O.G because he was one of the first ones to live over here back and 1978. He took such pride in his home making sure everything was right, I even remember him painting his entire house with a paint brush. He was always upbeat and shared a good laugh, he was so proud of his children that he often spoke of and he looked forward to the family gatherings. We worked on alot of projects together from cutting tree limbs, to working on cars, if you needed a tool he had it. I often told him how blessed he was to have a loving family, a roof over his head, and to be so active at his age. I remember him fixing the neighborhood kids bike into the evening hours one time, he was patient and he helped each one of them, I have never met such a kind, giving, generous person. Chuck if your listening, I miss you my friend I never would have thought that the last time we spoke would be the last, our parting words was see you later. So to the family you had a great dad, and in some ways he was like a father to me, the neighborhood will never be the same. God bless. 🙏

Chuck will be greatly missed. He was my armored car guy for as long as he worked for Garda. Over the years Chuck was always there to listen and for a few good words of encouragement. We shared several laughs as well. Chuck you were a great friend.
