Although I havent seen Sandy in years I recognize her smile in the photo. She was a dedicated mom to Candie and a loyal friend to her former husband Tom. I will cherish the memories of our time together back in the 70's and early 80's. Jon

Dear Candie and Gilbert,How sorry I am of your mother's passing but how rejoiceful she must be with Jesus right now! Take comfort in that!! Though I knew her briefly, I was amazed at her strength and determination while faced with such adversity. She never gave up hope! Toni, I know you lost your very best friend and for that I am truly sorry. You all had a beautiful friendship and a special bond. In Christian Love, Rhonda Simpson

To Sandie's family- You have my deepest sympathy in losing such a lovely woman. I have been out of touch with Sandie for many years, but we worked together many, many years ago. In fact, she and Tom went with my husband and me to Cedar Point about 25 years ago and I still have her 'favorite' spatula she used for the brownies she made. I tried to send it to her, but she'd always say... just give it to me the next time we go to Cedar Point. We would run in to each other over the years and catch up quickly. But, we never got to spend enough time talking. Sandie was a beautiful woman, both inside and out. She was sweet, kind, loving and warm. I never heard her say a bad word about anyone. I thought of her often. My heart aches for what your families have lost. The world will be a bit less bright without Sandie in it. Take comfort in knowing how much she loved you all.

Sandie was such a special part of my life and she will always have a special place in my heart. Having her in my life growing up she was more of a sister then best freind then my cousin. I loved her so much. I was very blessed having her in my family and my life. We all have a very special guardian angel now watching over us.
