Wladyslaw Walter Rapala

Wladyslaw “Walter” Rapala, 70, of Toledo, Ohio passed away December 13, 2018. He was born in Poland to Jan and Magdelena Rapala on November 12, 1948, and came to the United States in the 1980s. He loved cooking and owned his own restaurant, Cajun Chicken & Polish Kielbasa, for a period of time. He also worked for several years at Frank’s Auto Electric. Walter is survived by his daughter, Iwonka (Pawel) Gondek of Poland; grandchildren, Natalia and Daniel of Poland; cousins, Kristina Surprise and Frank Grzegorczyk; and siblings in Poland. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and cousins, Helen and Edward Grzegorczyk.
