William I. Weidman, age 81, passed away July 16, 2020 at his home. He was born May 17, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio to Earl and Gertrude (Culbertson) Weidman. William did many things, including carpentry, and he enjoyed fishing in Canada, hunting in South Dakota, gardening, riding motorcycles, bowling, working on anything mechanical, and hanging out with his buddies at the Garage. He was the former club president of the Toledo Challengers. He is survived by his wife Cheryl Connors, four sons William Weidman (Lisa Garrett), John (Sue) St. John, Milton Weidman (Sheronda Tucker), and Richard (Alison) Weidman, and many grandchildren and great-grand children. William was preceded in death by his parents and six of his seven siblings. “Poppa was a Rollin Stone”
