William Tucker, Jr.

William Bill Tucker, Jr, 68, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio. Bill was born the son of William and Esther Tucker. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired as a Captain from the Ohio National Guard 323rd Military Police Company. William was easy-going, enjoyed college football, always rooting for the Big Ten, and was an avid reader and a lover of history. Bill will be dearly missed by his mother, Esther Tucker; his daughters, Laura Vollor, Jessica Tighe (DJ) Eckhart, Jennifer Tighe (Rodney) Ogle; and his son, William M. Tucker. He was the grandfather of Tucker Elizabeth, Casey, Reagan, Jakob, Miranda, Emily, Masyn, Camryn, and Gavin; and the loving brother of Kent (Teresa) Tucker, Kevin (Judy) Tucker, and Debra (Paul) Lawniczak. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Debra, and his father, William Tucker, Sr. A private memorial service was held for the family on August 3, 2017 at Grace Lutheran Church. The family expresses deep gratitude to Ebeid Hospice for the special care given to Bill, and suggest memorial donations be directed to the hospice.
