William Repka

William Repka, age 67 of Oregon, Ohio, passed away at Toledo Hospice of Northwest Ohio on Saturday June 12, 2021, after a long battle with cancer and other health problems. Bill graduated cum laude from the University of Toledo in 1977 with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. Birds were his passion and delight. He arranged and set up the best Christmas villages ever with people coming from the area to view them. He married his wife Jerri in 1987 after meeting while volunteering at a soup kitchen. Despite his struggles he never lost faith. He loved everyone he came in contact with and would love to cook for them. He could build and repair almost anything. He built a fabulous tree house from the ground up for his children single-handedly. He is survived by his wife Jerri Lynn, son Joshua Francis, daughter Angelina Marie, and brothers John and James. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Anna Repka, and sister Annie. Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints building at 11050 Avenue Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551. It will take place from 5:30-7:30 on Friday, June 25th. Special thanks to the medical staff at St. Charles Hospital, Dr. Adnan Al-Khalili, and staff at the Perrysburg Cancer Center.
