William Boone Kunkle

Bill Kunkle passed peacefully on Saturday, October 15, surrounded by his family at St. Anne Hospital in Toledo. He was born October 4, 1951 in Akron, Ohio to Howard and Jennie (Boone) Kunkle. A graduate of The Ohio State University and Defiance College, Bill was a proud Navy veteran who lived most of his adult life in Toledo surrounded by friends and fellow motorcycle enthusiasts. He was a life-long comic book collector, as well as an avid sci-fi and superhero fan.

He is survived by his sister, Sr. Hope and children, Allison Navarrete, Melinda Moreno (Julio), Laura Mulherin (Eric), and David Kunkle(Shauna); step-daughter, Lisa Rivard; grandchildren, Jordan, Caitlyn (Csoveiyan), Manuel, Marcus, Liam, Chloe; and great-grandchildren, Hinata and Takeo.

Bill's request was to be buried at sea with the Navy. Private service to be held for immediate family.
