William O. Kert

William Kert, 62 years, of Toledo, died Wednesday July 15.  He was born on November 30, 1957 in Oregon, OH to Robert S. Kert, Sr. and Olive E. (Anderson) Kert.  Bill was a 1976 graduate of Waite High School.  He was a Mechanic and was his happiest tinkering in the garage.  He had a life-long love of racing. Bill is survived by his wife, Lucinda; children, William (Rachel) Kert, Jr., Kimberly (Chris) Thompson; step-children, Ciera (Jamie) Tiedike, Chastity (Steven) Storm, Daric Suppes; grandchildren, William, Conner, Dylan, Dakota, Matthew and Ryan; step-grandchildren, Ryan, Brooke, Cali, Anabella, Kaylee, Eric, Dax; step-great granddaughter McKenzie, siblings; Robert (Marcia) Kert, Jr. and Joan (Tim) Drill; two nephews, two nieces, and eleven great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Suzanne (Bradner) Kert; step-father, Donald Baker, and grandparents; Stanley and Sylvia (Jaksetic) Kert, and Oris and Marjory (Horton) Anderson. A celebration of life will be held on a later date.  The family has entrusted arrangements to the Cremation Society of Toledo.
