William L. Hardison

On Monday, July 26, 2021, William Hardison, father of one and papaw of two, passed away at the age of 57 at University of Toledo Medical Center. Bill was born on September 8th, 1963 in Bowling Green, KY to Dalton and Sheila (Guffey) Hardison. He studied at Western Kentucky University, and later at Bowling Green State University. The list of jobs Bill has had is extensive, but some notable ones are working for Jeep manufacturing, WTOL, and Northwest Regional Library System. When you met Bill, you would instantly notice how charismatic, witty, and giving he was. He was always on the hunt for a good deal. He loved to go to garage and estate sales to find a good deal, most likely for someone else. His search for a good deal extended to his love of guns, was always available to go shooting and would want you to try his gun. He was always very creative, building something for someone or crafting a gift in some new medium. If you ever needed something he would be first to volunteer and make the task way more enjoyable with his stories and jokes. The best place to find him would be at his favorite cigar shop smoking a cigar, playing cards or darts, or telling a story to his friends with his dog Atlas by his side. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Dalton. He is survived by his mother Sheila, sister Pam and her husband David, and their son Brad; his first wife Barbara and their daughter Elizabeth and her husband Stephen, and their daughters Lillian and Matilda; his second wife Lauri and her sons Andrew and Anthony. Everyone is welcome to his Celebration of Life which will be outside of 3rd Street Cigar on Sunday Aug 8th starting at noon, family will be there till at least 5.
