William Barry "Bill" Franciscy

William Barry "Bill" Franciscy was born in Oak Park, Illinois and raised in Berwyn, Illinois. He attended business school at Northwestern University before beginning a two-year stint in the army, stationed in West Germany.

Bill had a varied career with a focus on retail, sales and transportation management. He had a great love of movies and

travelling, having visited much of Europe and all 50 of the United States.

Bill had a keen interest in cars, trains and boats and had owned several speedboats himself. He was an avid collector of antique and vintage toy cars and trains which he showcased in an impressive display room in his home. He loved dogs, particularly Charlie, the Shih Tzu to whom he was devoted.

Bill is survived by his five children, his nine grandchildren, his 10 great-grandchildren and his companion Jane Urbanowicz.
