William Jacob Bojarski

William Jacob Bojarski went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday April 14, 2018. He was born to Felix and Francis Bojarski in 1940, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. William was a graduate of DeVilbiss HS and a helicopter mechanic in the US Navy. He was a Toledo firefighter for 29 years. He was a lieutenant on the rescue squad at 1s engine house where he led a heroic crew of men. Their squad was among the busiest in the country, making thousands of runs a year. He finished his storied career as the Secretary of Administration. After he retired, he also served as a city fire inspector. William was a good friend to many in AA and in the church. William leaves behind his ex-wife Susan, his sons, Douglas (Brendalee), Brad(Maria), Marcus and Brandon. Grandchildren, Lucas, Shelby, Madison and Jannie. Sister Dorothy Garris, his best friend Dave(Julie) Lenart, and many friends and family. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at New Life Church, 6023 Summerfield Rd,”Petersburg, MI”at 3:00 PM.” Online condolences may be shared with the family at toledocremation.com
