William Charles Baumgartner , Jr.

William C. Baumgartner Jr. (Billy) of Luna Pier, MI, passed away January 8th, 2025.

Billy was born to William C. Baumgartner Sr. and Patricia Baumgartner Wise on January 13th, 1966. He was born and raised in Luna Pier and attended Erie Mason Schools. He was a member of the S.A.L American Legion Post 193. He loved to hangout at the Chateau Louise with all of his good friends, watching his favorite sports teams; Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions, and of course the Detroit Tigers.

Billy was proceeded in death by his parents. He is survived by a brother, Brian Baumgartner of Luna Pier; and sisters, Linda Curley of Toledo and Susan (Swan) Maples of Erie, Michigan.

Billy was a kind, loving soul who will be missed by many. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
