William Armstrong, Jr.

William H. Armstrong Jr., age 64, of Toledo, formerly of Northwood, passed away June 28, 2013. Bill was born on March 12, 1949 in Toledo to William and Lola (Felhberg) Armstrong. He retired from the former Toledo Mental Health Center due to health reasons. Bill will be remembered for his love of life, his great sense of humor, story telling, and his great smile. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Fred Armstrong; children: Dawn, Danny and Sarah Armstrong. Bill is survived by his sons: William Armstrong, of Toledo, and Tony Cline of Biloxi, MS; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; a sister, Bethann Armstrong-Vrooman, of Toledo; a brother, Charles (Sue) Armstrong of Pickerington; a niece, Heather Castle and nephews, Joe Castle, Fred and Christopher Armstrong. The family would like to give thanks to the staff of Arbors at Oregon and Advanced Specialty Hospital and a special thanks to the staff of St. Charles Hospital ICU/CCU nurses and Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Detroit Ave., who took extra special care of Bill and his family. A Memorial Luncheon will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013, 1:00 pm, at the VFW Post 2984, 102 West Andrus Rd, Northwood, OH.
