William Adkins

William, Bill, Billy Adkins entered this world on February 9, 1975 at 10 pm, the 4th child of Raelene Bea Adkins and Glenn David Adkins. He was born in Toledo, Ohio at Toledo Hospital and he left this world at Toledo Hospital on Tuesday morning, January 5th, 2021 . He was 45 years old. Bill was preceded in death by his father who passed away in 2015. He grew up and lived in Toledo and Sylvania most of his life. He went to the Toledo area schools and he attended Owens Community College working on his degree in ITT Business and culinary arts. Bill has 3 siblings, the oldest brother, Glenn David Adkins, sister, Dawn Marie MIller and brother George Daniel Adkins and 5 half-siblings: Venessa Swan, Shanna Rollins, Chad Adkins, Elisha Adkins and two step-sisters. His first child, Cora Nadine Adkins, was born 1995 followed by Hannah two years later, then Cayla, followed by Bailey, then Ivy and finally his son, Spenser. He married Tina Leslie in 1999, who is the mother of Hannah, Cayla, Bailey, Ivy, and Spenser. He accepted the Lord as his savior when he was 4 years old and would remind his mother of his memory of her leading him to the Lord. He was secure in the knowledge that he was saved. Bill loved to cook and wanted to be a chef and own his own restaurant, he loved music, played the guitar and liked to sing. He also loved to write poetry and was an accomplished artist. He had a quirky sense of humor and loved to joke around with everyone. He was a good friend to his cousin, Robert Miller, and spent a lot of time over the past 2 years helping him build his house and he took great pride in the things he was learning about carpentry. He also loved his many cousins including, Julie Hens, Becky and Kathy Prothero, Tony Lewis, Dan Theiman, Morgan Brown and many others. He was loved by everyone who knew him and he had many friends. He was especially proud of his children and they were always on his mind and in his heart. He will be greatly missed by all those who had the opportunity to know him.
