Wayne L. Sieja "Sarge"

Wayne L. Sieja, age 73, of Toledo, OH passed away on May 14, 2022. He was born on July 7, 1948 to Daniel and Augusta (Rutter) Sieja in Toledo, OH. Wayne grew up in Whitehouse, OH and enjoyed Scouting. He graduated from Anthony Wayne High School in 1966 and Davis College in 1978. Wayne served in the Air Force from 1969 to 1975 and was stationed at Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio, Phan Rang AFB in Viet Nam, Wiesbaden AFB in Germany, and Holloman AFB in New Mexico. Wayne worked for the City of Toledo Streets, Bridges and Harbor, and retired in 2017. He enjoyed Golf and played in the Muscular Dystrophy Annual Memorial Golf fundraiser many times. He was a member of VFW Post 2984 and AFSCME Local 7. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his sister Linda (Sieja) Frastaci. Services will be private.
