Overall, Wayne L. October 13, 1926 May 21, 2013 My dad, Wayne Overall, has completed his work here with us, and now will spend the hope of eternity with Betty Jean, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage, and with his son, Mike. He served his country in WWII and Korea, and then served his family through his lifes work designing and selling rock crushing equipment to quarries but only until he was 80. He will be remembered wearing his white shirt and tie, even on weekends! Dad comes from a delightful and supportive family of brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews who loved him deeply, and didnt hold back their expressions of love for him, ever. Vernon, Gene, and Twyla, his stalwart brothers and sister, all made recent and long trips from far reaches just to be with Dad. He was a story-telling, wry, and funny great-grandpa to Emily and Patrick, and to Maxwell and Natalie. And he especially loved his grandchildren Joel and Jeanette, Kristin, Stacy, Adrienn, and Michael. Long gone are the days of bugga-boo, and lost binoculars, but lovingly recalled. He lived with so many beautiful friends at Otterbein of Monclova, and danced, sang, saluted, and teased with them every day for nearly two years. I do know he loved them as family, as do I. The additional care from Hospice of NW Ohio has been enormously appreciated. Lastly he leaves me, his daughter Nancy, and her ever-supportive husband Dale, to remember and honor him as “perfect in every way”. God bless his heart, and rest his soul. All are welcome to attend a memorial service at 5085 Otterbein Drive (Otterbein Senior Lifestyle), Monclova OH, on Tuesday, May 28 at 7:00.
