Wayne Lee Anderson

Wayne Lee Anderson, age 55, passed away December 23, 2010, at Ebeid Hospice after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born in Toledo on April 29, 1955. Wayne was a 1974 graduate of Maumee High School and he began working at Jeep in 1976 until his retirement in February 2008. He married Cathy (Hetzel) Anderson on March 29, 1997. He enjoyed working on cars, fabricating something out of nothing, and fishing. In addition to his wife, Wayne is survived by a brother, Larry (Joyce) Campbell; uncle and aunt Jack and Betty Anderson; nieces, Robina (Jeff) Grunden and Rhonda (Dale) Schroeder; three great-nieces and one great-nephew, and his four-legged children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip (2009) and Geraldine (2002) Anderson. A memorial service will take place in the spring. The family would like to thank the staff at Ebeid Hospice who participated in his care, particularly “Dr” Julie. Memorial contributions may be made to Ebeid Hospice or a charity of the donors choice.
