Wallace "Wally" Ray Rush passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Toledo Hospital. He was born on September 5, 1944, in Gainesboro, Tennessee, to Henry and Dorothy (Heady) Rush. He attended Jackson County High School.

Wally proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1967. On December 18, 1965, he married the love of his life, Ann (Collins) Rush. Together they raised two sons, Daniel Ray Rush and David Michael Rush.

After 41 years of dedicated work, he retired from McLean-Flowform Inc. (formerly Cousino's). Wally loved the outdoors-going on frequent walks, golfing, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Dorothy Rush, and his brothers, Charles Wayne Rush and Rondell Rush.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ann; sons, Daniel Ray and David Michael; brothers, Bobby, Stanley, and Don; and sisters‑in‑law, Earlene, Sherrie, Betty, and Dorothy.
