Virginia L. Pietras

Born December 27, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio to Mary and Walter Sobiecki, Virginia L. Pietras passed away peacefully and went home to her Lord on June 13, 2021. She graduated from Waite High School and went on to work as a bookkeeper in a bank for many years until she became a homemaker and stay-at-home mom full time. Virginia loved her dogs and had many throughout her life, rescuing many strays and passed that love on to her daughter. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church for many years until it closed, then attended Immaculate Conception for some time before finally settling in and becoming a member of St. Charles Church and was blessed with exemplary health until the last six months before her passing. She is survived by her son, Donald Kozlowski and daughter, Linda Boyle, both of Toledo, Ohio and by her grandson, Jason Pietras of Columbus, Ohio. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond S. Pietras, and two brothers, Ollie and Eugene Sobiecki. We would like you to know that our mother was a sweet, kind, loving person and would never intentionally hurt another soul. You are sooooo missed mom and that will continue for us until we meet again. Rest in heavenly peace now mom, you so deserve it Love you forever and ever.
