Virginia R. Guba

Virginia Ruth Guba was born on May 21, 1931 in Yonkers, NY to parents Anthony and Phyllis Parente. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, July 3, 2020 surrounded by family. Virginia attended DeVilbiss High School and graduated in 1948. After graduating, she took a job as a receptionist at RCA where she met her future husband, Nicholas.  They married on August 15, 1953 and went on to have 3 children David, Daniel and Cheryl. Virginia loved to travel. She and Cheryl, made several trips to Pennsylvania Dutch country and to Southern Ohio to watch the leaves change in the Fall. Virginia was also an avid fan of college sports. Her favorite teams were The Michigan State Spartans and University of Michigan Wolverines. Virginia was preceded in death by husband Nicholas, son David, daughter Cheryl and grandson Christopher. She is survived by her son Daniel (Karen), grandson Hunter (Laura) and granddaughter Nicole (Jeff). A service is being planned for a future date. Please contact the family for further information.
