Virginia Louise Fisher

Virginia L. Fisher, age 90, peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2009. She was born in Toledo on October 25, 1918 to the late Harold and Hallie (Phillips) Cramer. Virginia was a 1936 graduate of DeVilbiss High School and later Davis Business College. She married Stanley Martin Fisher who precedes her in death. Her secretarial skills and love of God lead her to work, for many years, at First E.V.B. and Monroe St. United Methodist Churches. She loved the arts and had a passion for writing. She always had a ready smile and a gracious heart for all. She loved family and reunions and will be missed by all that knew her. Virginia is survived by her sons, Phil and Fred Fisher; sisters, Norma Pratt and Pat Brunner; brother, Don (Vera) Cramer; grandchildren, Nolen Fisher, Tianna Griffin, Erin Fisher, Sian McHale, and Jerome Fisher; great- grandchildren, Isaac and Shamus McHale. Services will be held at Monroe St. United Methodist Church, 3613 Monroe St., on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 2pm with a reception to follow.The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Monroe St. United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers. Cremation Society of Toledo has been entrusted with Mrs. Fishers care. Online condolences may be made below.
