Victoria A. Williams

Victoria Ann Williams passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 78, in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on October 1, 1946, in Winchester Virginia. Victoria led a life marked by kindness, devotion, and a genuine love and care, which had a profound impact on those around her.


Victoria was a caring individual whose life was deeply rooted in her faith, family, friends and love for animals, particularly her cats. Her genuine consideration and heartfelt attention was a blessing to all who knew her. She filled her environment with a special beauty with her smile, warmth and thoughtfulness, which are deeply etched in our memories.


She cherished time spent with her granddaughter and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.


Victoria spent her professional years as a bookkeeper, retiring from Rimer Enterprises in 2008, after 28 years. After retirement, she grew in her love for animals and commitment to their welfare, spending many years volunteering her time and resources to animal welfare organizations.


She enjoyed tending to her flower beds and garden with great love and attention and often shared her love and knowledge of plants and flowers with others. She also enjoyed thoughtfully choosing gifts and small surprises for those in her life.


Her faith in Jesus Christ played a pivotal role in her life. She was a devoted and active member of Stonebridge Presbyterian Church in Perrysburg.


She is survived by her son, Steve (Hyewon) Williams; daughter, Kathy (Eric) Johnson; granddaughter, Kelsey (Chad) Zeiter; great-grandchildren, Avery, Brady, and Finley Zeiter; sister, Pattie (Paul) Wilmoth; brother, Chris Wright; stepmother, Renate Wright; half-brother, Drew Wright; half-sister, Ramona Dahl; nine beloved cats; and numerous other family members. Victoria was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; father, Francis Wright; and mother, Elizabeth (Swimley)Wright.


A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, at the Waterville Event Center at 3:00 pm, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life gathering, until 8:00 pm.


In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Victoria's memory to Paws & Whiskers, honoring her love for animals and her compassionate spirit or to Stonebridge Presbyterian Church in Perrysburg.
