Veronica Cecilia Mocek

Veronica C. Mocek passed away on February 15, 2018 at Perrysburg Commons. First born to Martin and Cecelia Suchta as Verna C. Suchta. Over the years she changed her name to Veronica although most people knew her as Vern or Vernell. Married 55 years to Eugene J. Mocek, she worked at Champion Spark Plug during WWII and then at Bunting Brass and Bronze for over 30 years. She was an original member of Przybylski Post #642 Auxilliary and a member of Christ the King church. Devoted mother of Patricia (William) Keip and Victoria Wagner. Loving sister Pearl Roberts and sister-in-law Dawn Scott. Grandmother to Carrie Keip, Jeff (Karen) Keip, Nicole (Wes) Benwick, Kristina (Nick) Payne, Torrie (Scott) Jones, Timothy Harbauer, Ian Wagner and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene, siblings Irene, Daniel, Richard and Ernest. Friends may call at Christ the King church 4100 Harvest Lane with visitation 9-10am and funeral Mass at 10am on Monday, February 26th, 2018 with burial at Resurrection cemetery.
