Twila L. Dubois

Twila Werner DuBois, age 57, of Holland, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Twila was born on May 5, 1964 in Lancaster, California. Following high school, Twila received her accounting degree from Davis College, after which she had a successful career working in the accounting department at Willis Machinery Company in Toledo. Twila had a passion for Girl Scouts and was a troop leader for many years, including planning many of the “Mom and Me” camps. She loved creating magical Fairy Gardens in her yard. Twila had a soft spot for animals, and loved the many pets the family had over the years. She enjoyed being in nature, fishing, hiking, traveling, reading, crime shows, Michigan football, and Toledo Walleye Hockey. Twila is survived by her husband of 27 years, John, as well as her daughter, Nicole, and step-daughter April (Joshua) Stowell. She is also survived by her mother, Doris (Doug) Jaquillard, and sister, Vicki Reissig, 3 grandsons, and several nieces and nephews. Twila was preceded in death by her father, Robert W. Werner, her brothers Dennis Werner and John Admire, and sister, Christine Tierney. Twila was fiercely dedicated to her family and to those she considered to be family, an ever growing circle. Although she fought multiple health issues that kept her in chronic pain, she never complained and rarely even mentioned it, preferring to focus her attention on those she loved. She was a woman of strength who will be missed by all who loved her. A Celebration of Life Gathering honoring the life of Twila will be held on Saturday, February 26 from 1-4 PM at Township Hall, 7614 Angola Road, Holland, Ohio.
