Troy Robert Williams

Troy Robert Williams, of Monclova, Ohio, passed away at home on October 26, 2023. He was born on August 25, 1972, in Bowling Green, Ohio, to Douglas and Judy Williams.

Troy went to Rossford High School, graduating in 1990. He then continued his academic career at Owens State Community College where he earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science with a Computer Aided Machine Major in May of 1998. He acquired his Engineering Technologies Certificate in May of 1998 at Owens State Community College as well. Later he attended Bowling Green State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Technoloy, specializing in Manufacturing Engineering, in August of 2001. Additionally, he earned an Executive Master of Business Administration from Bowling Green State University in May of 2017.

Troy worked at Cooper Tire and Rubber Company as a global project sourcing manager from 1996 to 2011. In 2011, he was the global director of purchasing at Ice Industries until 2020. Later that year, he worked at Airstream as the director of supply chain touring coach until his passing.

Troy’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, grilling, and woodworking. He also enjoyed taking motorcycle trips out west to Colorado, Utah, and Nevada with close friends. He enjoyed boating with friends and family on Lake Erie as well as “Monday Night Poker” with friends. Troy loved to make a good bonfire for friends and family as well. He also loved taking trips and going to sporting events with his daughters. Spending quality time together with his daughters, such as playing card games with them, is something he greatly enjoyed as well.

He is survived by his daughters, Jordan (Edin) Bukva and Casey Williams; sister, Sandy (Keith) Jeremy; and parents, Douglas Williams and Judy Williams.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Local Thyme located at 6719 Providence St., Whitehouse, Ohio 43571, from 1pm-5pm. Memorial donations can be made out to research of esophageal cancer and to Victory Center in Toledo, Ohio.
