Tonya Trent, age 58, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born on March 30, 1968, in Marion, Indiana, the beloved daughter of Patrick Trent (Gaylee Trent) and Edith Sizemore.

Tonya was a loving mother to Jonathon Thomas, James Thomas, and Taylor Paul. She was also a proud grandmother to Payton Thomas, Jasmine Thomas, Landon Payton, and Ellianna Payton, who brought her so much joy.

She is also survived by her brothers, Jerry Trent, Troy Trent (Diana), Robbie Trent, and Ryan Trent; and her sister, Druesilla Trent (Paul).

Tonya worked as a home health aide, caring for others with kindness and compassion. As a single mother of three, she worked hard to provide for her family and always put them first. She took the upmost pride in her family.

She loved camping, family picnics at the park, and spending time with the people she loved most. She will be remembered for her caring heart, strength, and love for her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Cremation Society of Toledo.
