Tony L. Bub Edwards

Tony (Bub) L. Edwards, age 45, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Friday, November 06, 2020, suddenly at St. Vincent hospital. Tony was born on August 7, 1975, to Jacqueline Edwards.  He was a 1997 graduate of Cardinal Stritch; accordance with MRDD. Bub was the light of the family, born with Downs Syndrome. The youngest of 6 siblings (the baby).  His smile & laughter never went unnoticed.  He would make a bad day, Good. He was genuinely happy and kind.  He loved to watch The Ohio State Buckeyes, Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions.  He never missed a game. He enjoyed listening to his jams, Rock & Roll, playing Madden on his PS & watching Family Feud with Steve Harvey.  Holidays were his favorite time of the year.  His birthday receiving all the presents, Thanksgiving the love of food; macaroni salad, mac & cheese and pumpkin pie. Lastly, Christmastime waiting on Santa to arrive, his kind and innocent spirit allowed him to still Believe. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Edwards; brother John Edwards; Aunts Rebecca Morse, Pam Van Sant, Janet Smolenski & Patricia Boyak; cousin Daniel Van Sant. Left to cherish is memory are his Special brother, George, David (Shari), Charles III; sister Sherry Dickerson & (niece/sister) Torry (Marlyn); nephews, David Jr, Matt Banks, Eddie and Charles IV; nieces; Desiree, Rachel & Susan Peters, Crystal and Naomi; special great niece Jacqueline Washington; also 8 great nephews & 1 great niece; & many cousins. Due to Covid-19, services will be private and a Celebration of Life will be held in the future.
