Timothy Storer

November 25, 1957 — April 4, 2023

Timothy Frank Storer, 65, passed away from a brief illness on April 4th, 2023. Tim was born and raised in Toledo, OH. He graduated from the Leelanau School in Leelanau County, MI, where he was a member of the soccer and ski teams. He worked with his father in the construction business and Midwest Alarm before getting his Civil Engineering degree. He loved the security alarm business so much he never left and worked for several local alarm companies through the years. He was a natural born talker and could sell anything! He loved his customers, especially his new construction builders, and they loved his honest approach to sales.


Tim was an avid snow skier and loved his time at Sweezy Lake spending time with family and friends fishing, boating, and at lake social events. Tim was an avid hockey fan whose favorite team was the Detroit Red Wings. He loved watching his boys play sports throughout their youth and high school years, especially hockey.


Tim is survived by sons, Braden in Atlanta, GA and Blake in Denver, CO; brother, Terry (Tina); nephews, Ryan and Eli; niece, Faith; and 2 sisters. Tim was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Gertrude Storer. Also survived by former wife and friend, Kerri; and best friends, Dennis Isenberg, Brad Paxton and Steve Cobb.


Funeral services will be held at Gesu Catholic Church, 2049 Parkside Blvd, on Wednesday, May 10th, at 4 PM with dinner following at the Sullivan Center at Gesu.
