Timothy James O'Leary

Timothy James O’Leary (“Tim”), 74, of South Toledo passed away Saturday, November 2nd, 2024.

Tim was born on October 13th, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio. He attended E.L. Bowsher High School and then served in the U.S. Air Force until February of 1976. After returning to Toledo from serving overseas, Tim enjoyed a career in security throughout the city until his retirement.

Tim enjoyed classic automobiles with an affinity toward Corvettes, Studebakers, and Indian Motorcycles where he was very proud of his father’s ownership of O’Leary’s Indian Sales on Lagrange Street that operated until 1962. Tim was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and was never afraid to share his opinions on football with his friends throughout the south end.

Tim was incredibly proud of his family heritage and was preceded in death by his parents, John J. O’Leary and Frances M. O’Leary, as well as his twin brother, Thomas J. O’Leary. He is survived by his children, Patrick J. O’Leary and Timothy “Gus” J. O’Leary; his siblings, Patricia (John) Finneran-Baker, Judith M. O’Leary, John J. (Rebecca) O’Leary, Daniel P. (Sandy) O’Leary, Kathleen A. Houstin, and Terry A. (Laurie) O’Leary, and many nieces and nephews in his family.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Sunrise Life Celebrations, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH 43528 on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 1:00 pm until Tim's Celebration of Life service at 2:00 pm.
