Thomas H. Loving, Iii

Thomas H. Loving III, 72, passed away at his home on May 31st, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born on December 19, 1951, in Oak Hill, West Virginia.

Tom graduated from Waite High School in 1969. He worked for Champion Spark Plugs for 12 years and then retired from Jeep after 30 years. Tom was a Vietnam Veteran and served 4 years in the Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jr. and Frances (Evans) Loving; as well as his lifelong friend, Bob Luce.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Phyllis (Vita) Loving; sons, Thomas IV and Nicholas; brother, Roger (Barb) Loving; best friend of over 60 years, Jim (Judy) Avery; grandchildren, Alissa, Abigail, and Brandon; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Tom was loved by everyone who met him. He was a loving husband, father, pawpaw, and uncle.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
