Thomas W. Culbertson

Thomas W. Culbertson, age 83, of Sylvania, Ohio passed away on April 22, 2018. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 23, 1934 to William and Mary (Calipetro) Culbertson. Thomas proudly served his country in the US Army for 23 years before retiring. He served both stateside and overseas, and is the recipient of the Bronze Star and three service stars. Thomas also retired from Goodyear and Ryan’s Pharmacy after his military career. He had an extensive family that loved him dearly. He was truly a father, brother, uncle, grandpa and best friend to us all. Thomas is survived by sons, James (Peggy); Michael Jr.; Aaron; and Chad; grandchildren, Christin; Angela; Thomas; Michael III; Chelsie; Zachary; Aaron; Alan and Anthony; brothers, Joe (Patricia); James (Mary Ann); John (Dee) and Rick; nieces and nephews, Pat Mallernee; Jane Adams; joey; Kelli; Craig; Kerri; Sean; Colleen; Micheal; Lori; Rikki; great nephew, Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan (Pomeranz); second wife, Constance (Hood); sister, Judy Weidman and niece, Terri Jane Stingal. A Memorial services will be at Westside Community Church, 6045 W. Bancroft Street, Toledo, Ohio at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 12, 2018. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
