Thomas G. Aberl

Thomas George Aberl, 73, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026, surrounded by his loving family and dear friends.

Tom was born on July 13, 1953, to George and Lois Aberl. He graduated from St. John's Jesuit High School in 1971 and maintained lifelong friendships with many of his classmates. Tom enjoyed a successful career as an entrepreneur and businessman. He also formed lasting friendships in Florida, where he lived for many years before returning to Ohio.

Tom was devoted to his family and cherished the life he shared with Kathy. A devout Catholic, his faith in God never wavered. His trust in the Lord guided him throughout his life, providing strength, comfort, and purpose. He lived out his faith through his compassion, generosity, and service to others.

Tom had a great passion for golf and enjoyed spending time bass fishing, pontoon boating on the lake, and tackling home improvement projects, which brought him much pride and satisfaction. His warm smile, generous spirit, and genuine love for others touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Tom is survived by his beloved Kathy; his brother, Mike; and his brother-in-law, Tim Mallon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and three special "grandchildren." He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lois Aberl, and his sister, Cynthia Mallon.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at All Saints Catholic Church, 628 Lime City Road, Rossford, Ohio 43460, beginning at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will immediately follow at St. Rose Cemetery, 11330 Avenue Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.

Tom will be forever remembered for his kind and gentle nature, the love he showed to everyone he met, and the countless lives he touched. His legacy of kindness, faith, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
