Theresa S. Whaley

Theresa S. Whaley, age 68, passed away Monday Oct. 28, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg after a brief illness. The daughter of William and Frances Gilbert, she was born March 29, 1945 in Toledo, OH. She was a 1963 Graduate of Waite High School. Theresa loved gardening and had a beautiful flower garden. She was a proud grandmother to Christian Carpenter, who was the light of her life.Left to cherish her memory is her son, Ronald Carpenter; grandson, Christian Carpenter; brothers, Joseph (Ernestina) Gilbert, John (Jean) Gilbert; sisters, Mary (James) Brooks, Ann Ellis, Sharon Clifton, Rita (Art) Periatt and Barbara (Jack) Mackey; aunt, Josephine Kempf; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be sorely missed by her friends and neighbors who affectionately referred to her as “Aunt Theresa”. She was preceded in death by her parents.There will be no visitation: her final resting place will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
