Terry L. Ray

Terry Lee Ray, age 63, of Toledo passed away on Saturday October 24, 2020 at Advanced Specialty Hospitals of Toledo.  He was born August 24, 1957 in Knoxville, TN to Kenneth and Donna (Eckert) Ray.  Terry was a Veteran of the US Army, and was stationed in both Australia and Hawaii. Terry had such a kind soul, and loved nature.  You would always find him outside admiring his plants and flowers, tending to his fish and turtles in his pond, and his outdoor cats.  He also loved spending time with family at cookouts, and other family functions.  Can you say MARVEL fan?  Terry may have been MARVEL’s biggest fan.  He had a huge collection of comics, figures, posters, and was always looking forwarded to the newest movie being released. Terry is survived by his mother Donna Bellamy, step mother Judy Ray, sister Lisa Black, brother Adam Bellamy, sister-in-law Donna Bellamy, step siblings Connie Ray, Bonnie Napier, Anna (John) Karamol, Debbie (Greg) Kurth,  Jen (Rob) Leach,  daughter Amanda Kimbrell, 6 grandchildren,  many nieces  and nephews, nurse Dee Stark, home health aide George, and his four legged feline Bossy.  He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Ray, step father Fred Bellamy, brother Dale Ray, and sister Robin Frost. We will have a memorial of his life on November 7, 2020 at 2pm at Faith United Lutheran Church; 4543 Douglas Rd, Toledo, OH 43613.  Parking for the hall is located behind the church.  Memorial donations can be made to Humane Ohio or Meals on Wheels.
