Teresa "Terri" Joann (Hutchison) Grams, age 69, of Temperance, MI, passed away on February 19, 2026 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo after a five-year battle with breast cancer.
Teresa was born on March 26, 1956 in Mount Vernon, OH to Orville and Ada (Farie) Hutchison. She went to primary school at St. Vincent de Paul and graduated from Mount Vernon High School. After graduation, she moved to Toledo, OH and obtained her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree from Owens Community College. She dedicated her entire nursing career to Promedica Monroe Regional Hospital (formerly Mercy Memorial Hospital) as an inpatient psychiatric nurse in several capacities, with many years as a charge nurse and most recently as a recipient rights advocate. She retired in 2021 with almost 45 years of service. Teresa loved spending time in nature, especially along the beaches of Lake Michigan. One of her favorite things to do on road trips was stopping wherever there was a brown sign to explore a new tourist attraction. She also loved riding her bike in scenic parks and rail-trails in Michigan and Ohio. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family - with her lasagna, taco chili, and meatloaf muffins as some of their favorites. Her greatest joy was being Grammy to her only grandchild, Isabela. She treasured the time she spent with her and enjoyed watching her grow.
She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Terry; daughters, Andrea (Zachariah) Garczynski and Stephanie Grams; granddaughter, Isabela Garczynski; siblings, Patricia Peterson, Valerie (James) Schmitt, Marilyn Ault, Judy Hutchison, Bonnie Hutchison, John "Jack" Hutchison, Michael "Rick" (Teresa) Hutchison, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
