Teresa Escudero

On January 4, 2023, Teresa Escudero passed away peacefully at the age of 87 years old.

Teresa was born November 30, 1935, in Ecuador. She was the proud mother of 1. A grandmother to 4. Great grandmother to 3. Teresa was raised in Loja, Ecuador where she studied nursing. She loved storytelling, puzzles, and traveling. Her absolute favorite place to eat was the China buffet surrounded with the family she loved.

Teresa is survived by her daughter Maria Silva, son in law Jaime Silva , four grandchildren Sandra Silva, Natasha Silva, Jennifer Zambrano and Melissa Silva and three great-grandchildren Veronica, Josefina and Jayden. Also survived by an abundance of uncles, aunts, siblings, cousins and forever friends. Preceded in death by Mother Dolores Albertina Velez Ojeda. Father Aureliano Velez. Granddaughter Natasha Silva.

The family would like to thank the, EMT, ER, the ICU team at UTMC Hospital for their compassionate care during Teresa short stay. They'd also like to thank all our family and friends for their support and prayers.

A private family services will be held in honor of her memory.
