Ted R. Ronfeldt

Ted Ruch Ronfeldt, age 79, passed away on March 27, 2021 at Spring Meadows Care Center under hospice. Ted was born in Toledo, OH to Lois (Ruch) and Theodore Ronfeldt who preceded him in death. Ted is survived by two sisters, Sue Ronfeldt Paul (Jim) and Marty Ronfeldt Everhart (Denny). Ted is also survived by four sons, Andrew (Karen) Ronfeldt, Michael (Mary Ann) Ronfeldt, Sean (Melissa) Ronfeldt, and Christopher (Wendy) Ronfeldt, ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Ted attended Libby High School in Toledo and Toledo University. He attended Salem Lutheran Church and later taught Sunday School at Holy Trinity. Shortly thereafter, he married Judith “Judy” Mason. Together they embarked on many fabulous journeys, including their four children. Ted spent many years working at Owen-Illinois in the plastics division. Ted loved music. He played the guitar and sang in various establishments in Waterville and Toledo. Judy preceded Ted in death. Ted retired to South Carolina. He cherished the times he spent with friends and family on the beach. Burial and services will be private. Our thanks to UTMC and Spring Meadows for their excellent care.
