Tammie M. Farmer

Tammie M. Farmer, born to the union of Marcus and Rose Farmer on January 16, 1961, passed from this earthly life on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the age of 55 at the Laurels of Toledo. She was a graduate of Libbey High School class of 1979. She also attended Toledo Academy of Beauty Culture. She was a faithful employee of Anns Bar-B-Que for a number of years. She was a member of Tabernacle of Praise under the leadership of Pastor Charles Allen where she served in the ushering ministry. Tammie was preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, Edward and Margaret Taylor, and Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Farmer, Sr.; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Reather Allen; and her father, Marcus Farmer, Jr. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her mother, Rose M. Farmer (John); son, Marcus (Shea) Farmer; great aunts, Helen Shy; aunt, Glinder (Willie) Leonard; uncles, Eddie Taylor, Robert (Natalie) Taylor, George Crawford, and Garey Taylor; and a host of loving relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the Laurels of Toledo and Hospice of Heartland for their loving care. Memorial services will be Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11AM at Tabernacle of Praise, 1217 Prouty Ave, Toledo. Burial will be private.
