Sylvia Sue Steakley

It is with great sadness that the family of Sylvia Sue Steakley announces her passing after a lengthy illness, on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the age of 64. Born on February 27, 1955 in Monroe, Michigan she was the daughter of Doyle Franklin and Lois Imogene (Hurst) Fultz.  She married Larry W. Steakley Sr. on November 30, 1979. Sylvia was a homemaker and devoted mother and before she passed, she wanted her children to know that “I will always love you, be good to each other and we will see each other again in heaven.”  I love you. Sylvia will be lovingly remembered by her children Christina S. (Edward) Clark, Larry W. Steakley Jr. of Monroe, Michigan, Cherie Lynn Steakely and partner Jodi Ann Kline of Port Clinton, Ohio and grandchildren Nicholas S. Neckel-Fultz, Christian J. Neckel-Fultz and Brendon E. Clark, siblings Patricia (Roy) Smith, Shirley (Casper) Monday, Kenneth Fultz, Ricky Fultz and Jeff Fultz all of Monroe, Michigan and Kenny Fultz of Toledo, Ohio and sister-in-law Kirsten Moyers of Westland, Michigan. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Larry W. Steakley Sr. and siblings Barbara J. Mullins, Jerry Fultz Jr., Larry D. Fultz and Vicki Fultz.
