Suzanne Carol Albrecht, 80, passed away on November 20, 2022. Suzanne was born on June 4, 1942 in Defiance, Ohio to John and Elizabeth Sawick. She lived most of her younger years in Toledo, Ohio with a move to Port Richey, Florida, as an adult. This is where she met her husband Raymond Albrecht who preceded her in death October 25, 2007.
She leaves behind her only child, Kathleen Brown (Dale); grandsons, Mark Futey (Jessica), Christopher Brown (Jenna) and two great grandchildren, Lucas and baby Lyla. Suzanne will be remembered by her family for her humor, silliness and her “unique” driving ability. She battled the last few years and overcame so much that her passing was shattering. Her daughter will miss her friendship, shopping trips and weekly lunch dates. We will have to learn to navigate the waters without her. She was dearly loved and will be dearly missed.
Suzanne was the oldest of six children and shared many fond memories of growing up in a large family. When sharing her memories of her younger years she gave listeners a smile and sometimes a belly laugh, especially when she was talking about her ornery siblings and her grandparents. She leaves behind sisters, Barb Foore and Peggy Whatmore (Tom). Her two sweet sisters, Ann and Nancy and her only brother, John preceded her in death. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews from Toledo, Cleveland, Michigan, Florida, and Arizona.
Mass for Suzanne will be at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 East Front Street, Perrysburg, OH 43551 on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 10:30 am with the interment following at St. Rose Cemetery.
